Today was overall a good workout, got an upper body pump and enjoyed myself ... not too taxing, it felt fun to get in the gym and do a low stress session this like. 


A.

Bench Press

4 sets x 5 reps @ 75% (205#)

75% of your one rep max bench press.

B.

Bench Press

2 sets x 8-10 reps

Lower the weight to a number that will have you reaching failure within the given rep range.

Board Bench Press 

2 sets x 8-10 reps

Lower the weight to a number that will have you reaching failure within the given rep range.


-185# for 2 sets of 10 for the bench press

-205# for 2 sets of 8 for the board press 


C.

Close Grip Bench Press

3 sets x 8-10 reps

The goal is to reach failure within the given rep range in all 3 sets.


-145# for 3 x 10 

 

D.

DB Skull Crushers 

3 sets x 12 reps


-Complete, 2 x 25# ... went light on these, but had no elbow pain, which was good 

 

E.

Dumbbell Side Raises

3 sets x 15 reps

Come as close to failure as possible with out actually failing, within the given rep range.

Durante Core x 3 sets 


-Complete, 2 x 15# DB 

 

F.

Dumbbell Bent-Over Side Raises

3 sets x 12-15 reps

Come as close to failure as possible with out actually failing, within the given rep range.

Overhead Banded Tricep Extensions x 50 reps (1 red band) 


-Complete, went 36/14 ... fun/different pump finisher
