12/8/11

Today was a lighter metcon, but overall a good session. I didn't feel great, but I went as hard as possible. I didn't do heavy stuff today, I'm tapering down for the competition on Saturday.

For time:

9-6-3
155# Bench Press
Muscle-ups

5.20. This was light and fast. I didn't feel very strong. My triceps and shoulders are still a little shot from the extremely hard workouts on Tuesday.

Rest 10 minutes then...

3 RFT:
6 Overhead Squats - 135#
9 Burpees
12 Toes-to-bars

Straight into...

6 RFT:
3 Overhead Squats - 135#
6 Burpees
9 Toes-to-bars

15.27. This was a brutal workout. I got all the reps unbroken, but took a bit of rest right before each set of toes-to-bar. The overhead squats felt light and easy. Overall a good session. Excited for Saturday.
